Confirmation Camp-Thursday
Climbing the tower and using a zip line to come down. Closing the day with a dance. Going “whale watching” and through the “meat grinder.” Cooking over an open fire. Spending the night under the stars. Feeding fram animals. Counselors who compliment the behavior of our children. Showing kindness to a person who needs to know she has value despite a diagnosis that has caused her problems all of her life.
This is how we closed our last full day of camp. It will have been a good week at Lutherdale. Hope you are enjoying the pictures.

How cool is this!!! Rachel just told me about the blog and the pictures of the kids at Lutherdale. It looks like everyone is having more than a great time! I LOVE all of the pictures and your summary comments make it sound like the kids had a meaningful experience as well as a great time. Thanks for posting! See y’all soon.

Thank you for the pictures and commentary about the days at camp. I feel a bit transported into where you are right now….it all sounds wonderful. I can’t wait to hear from the kids what they took away from the week.

When we picked the kids up from Lutherdale on Friday it was obvious that they have formed relationships with each other, which is awesome. Tom is sporting a “GAP” (God Answers Prayer) baseball cap, and Allison is teaching her camp songs to the other kids in the neighborhood. It’s awesome. Pastor John will have some wonderful stories to tell us, I’m absolutely sure

I’m glad that they are such a tight group. It was our youth group at my church many years ago, that drew me to church. I still keep in contact with some of my youth group pals.
